21st Century Bounty Hunter?
$500,000! The MyDoom author could turn himself in, hire a
good lawyer, make a deal, and still make a killing.

If companies keep putting up rewards this big, it could lead to a
whole new industry. Write a virus, infect hundreds of
thousands of Windows computers, give yourself up, collect your
big reward, become famous, write a book, then get hired as a
security expert.

You might serve a little time, but you would probably still be
making over $100,000 a year.

Of course, as soon as the business caught on, American
companies would outsource it to India.
