- Better title - "Not a Disaster Yet"
- It's too soon to tell whether this merger is a success. Obviously it hasn't been a disaster to date, but the real test will come as Oracle begins to put its mark on the application and the "PeopleSoft-ness" of the current apps gets overlaid. The merger will be a success if the customer base remains or grows as Oracle's version of the applications are rolled out. The risk is that the same reasons that caused people to choose PeopleSoft over Oracle remain in place with Oracle's future versions, and thus customers begin to peel off for other vendors.
