RE: Read the latest GROKLAW
I've read a lot of the postings in GROKLAW. But they don't really answer my question or I have not found the answer yet.

My question stems on the legal aspect of someone saying they are owners of something and at the same time asking the ownership of the same thing turned over to them. How can you ask for a legal transfer of something you already own? This is redundant. I can see them asking (Novell in this case) to publicly acknowledge them (SCO) as the owner; but not to turn over ownership because they already own it.

This on the surface seems like they are trying to trick someone into turning over something they want. But legally is this a typical question that would come up in similar situations.
