At the beginning there was concern
There may have been something to worry about when SCO forst threatened Linux users and tried to push their "licensing" (read: "Don't Sue Me" document) plan. For all anyone knew, SCO may have been about to present specific evidence as to why they had a right to charge all users of an otherwise open and free OS (existing in countless forms worldwide).

Now, however, that concern has dropped off to nearly nothing because SCO has presented no hard evidence (not much of anything but threats, really) as to WHY they should be paid such an exhorbitant amount so long after the fact. That alone, I think, could lose them a case against anyone they pursue in court because of non-payment for their "license".
