Huh?
Linux crooks will always be blatant.

Of course such people will be in plain sight. The system used by the kernel developers is meant to weed out illegal material. But since NONE have been found yet, its ok to conclude there aren't any "Linux crooks".

That is why Unix supporters make a clear line to distinguish them from Linuxers.

Many Unix developers are Linux developers and vice-versa (techniqually ALL Linux developers ARE Unix developers). Look at BSD, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, and even Unixware. Many of those developers worked on, developed, and contributed a lot to the Linux kernel. And they were proud enough to leave their names on the source files... instead of just saying owned_by_company_x.

And BTW, Linux IS Unix (it meets the definition), just like the BSDs, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Unixware, .... The only difference is the code and some specifics.

So, unless you meant a very specific type or category of Unix, your opinion is at best confusing.
