Since they made the guns they surely are responisble for all the deaths caused by these guns. It's the same reasoning with an interesting twist...... Kazaa can be used to share non copyright protected materials. Guns can't be used to do anything but kill/wound/mame.

The end user is responsible for the use of an item and should be held to account for the way he uses the tool. The manufacturer can hardly be held responsible for the way people use their products unless the product has but one potentialy illegal use. If you feel they can then please join a group that will presure the US government to put all gun manufaturers in jail or on the electric chair. It's the same line of reasoning.
