Your the one who deserves to have your Hard drive wiped
Not everybody has grown up with or was in position to learn the internet over time. To wish a nightmare situation on new or inexperienced users shows a lack of consideration for your fellow man.

The people least likely to be able to handle having their hard drive wiped are newbies or slow learners. However, they are EXACTLY the people who need to start learning how to use the internet and computers. If their SW/HW crashes so violently they are likely to stop trying to understand computer and they will have a harder time keeping up with the world market in skill level.

If you are in IT and don't have compassion for these people then do something else. Everybody knows IT workers are just Social Workers of the new Millenium. happy Sorry, I hated being IT so I escaped into software design years ago. I just didn't have the patience to explain where the Backspace key was one more time. happy

Anyways the fewer hours spent on the computer, the more hours the computer incompetant can breed. Which totally destroys the Darwin arguement. Computers and TV are some of the best birth control devices on the market.
