Sony is better than MSFT? I want what you're smokin'
Won't quibble on the other points, but the PS2 these days stinks to high heaven.

Well, at least the replacement copy does. My original PS2 was a great machine; worked wonderfully every time, even if the games themselves too often sucked. Then someone who shall remain nameless used it as a tackling dummy. A PS2 does not make a good Heisman Trophy candidate, as that individual found out for us, not that we ever wanted to know.

But replacing it with a second-gen PS2 design (or whatever the hell Sony refers to it as) has been a royal headache. It's taken three tries to get a machine that works most of the time. I don't know what happened between then and now, but SONY is a four-letter word, and should be bleeped at any and all opportunity.

Cheap materials, cheap components, cheap company. Really good rootkits, though.
