Good Idea
Actually this is a good idea. Microsoft should supply a copy of XP called XP Minimum. Nothing but the basic operating system. Wordpad, notepad, calculator, and maybe a few other utils, and that's it.

Want music.. Buy a player. Want internet access, buy a browser... I thinks it's a great idea.
