Is user base really related to exploit profile?
I rather doubt it, otherwise the Apache web server, with about 70% market share should be suffering more exploits than Microsoft's web server. But that isn't the case -- Apache has far fewer exploits, even discounting it's superior market share.

Can you demonstrate that in the browser market exploits are instead related to size of the user base?
