I noticed that Dvorak changed over time. He used to be on the ball, asked interesting questions, and wrote about cool things sometimes.
But it became obvious after a while that he was deliberately asking outrageous questions in order to "troll" in a sense, like you said. And he no longer was an independent dude throwing things out there, but yet another paid "journalist" spreading crap in order to keep making dough.
I suspect it's because the internet is replacing print media, TV, and other "journalism". Readership is down across the board at all major newspapers, and I bet it's the same for magazines, like Time, Newsweek, etc. People are tired of reading the spoon fed crap, like how we're "winning the war on terror", only to go online and find out what's really going on out there.
Not one commercial publication of anything has ever challenged such hot topics like why world trade center tower 7 fell without being hit by an aircraft; and why all the WTC debris was illegally removed from the site and not subject to a thorough forensic investigation. Then you go online and see with your own eyes the WTC complex's owner, Larry Silverstein, admitting to the demolition of his own damn building. And you find out the same crew that illegally removed what was left of the Alfred P. Murrah building in Oklahoma City in 1995 is the SAME crew to illegally remove all the WTC debris (Controlled Demolition Inc.) Coincidence? Same dudes doling out contracts to their same friends? Or was Oklahoma City a practice run for the bigger job (9/11) which was just a few years down the line?
Dvorak writes for PC Magazine, which has to have gone down in readership. By the time my subscription ran out, I never even looked at them anymore. They were filled with such wonderful tips like "learn how to access the Windows Start menu!" John is going the way of most other journalists, where with his content no longer drawing in his usual readership, he has to resort to propaganda and hype and deliberate rhetorical questions in a sad attempt to throw people into a frenzy and bring him and his publication back into the spotlight.
PS -- if you won't buy this wonderful informative book, I'll get it for you for Christmas and mail it to you. If you read it all the way through and still think arabs did 9/11 and can give me a reasonable explanation why you think so, I'll hire a stripper to come over to your house and sit on your honker.
