Doesn't make sense
I don't see what is the advantage of bying Opera. Opera is untested in any high-usage environment, which is when virus writers seriously start looking for vulnerabilities. Before then, visions of "security" for browsers with small market share percentages are usually quite common. So suddenly putting untested code onto 90% of all computers is asking for trouble.

And, btw, their own IE7 is shaping up quite nicely judging by the latest betas. By bying Opera, it will set them back because switching to a whole different code-base is not something you can do overnight.

Seriously, who comes up with this stuff?
