SCO licensed what to whom?
"SCO, which licensed Unix to IBM, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, Silicon Graphics and others..."

Didn't AT&T license Unix to IBM? In fact didn't IBM buy a perpetual non revocable Unix System V source licence from AT&T?

I thought Caldera (which changed its name to The SCO Group) claimed to be a successor in interest to the AT&T licences because they purchased the Unixware business off SCO (Santa Cruz Operation SCO) in 2000 who purchased the (some?) Unix System V assets off Novell in 1995 who purchased the Unix System V assets off USL in 1993 and USL was formed by AT&T to commercialise their Unix business.

The IBM Unix license predates the existence of The SCO Group so how did they license Unix to IBM?
