Each country you listed and others should be and more than likely will be considered on its own. Some might or should be attacked, some maybe should be talked to and others should just be watched.

The US Government, going on the information they had at the time, The same information that almost every other country and the U.N. considered believed that Iraq did have them. While it turns out we were wrong, so was almost everyone else.

Yes we did, we went be the old saying "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" and helped Iraq.

Along with other groups there. We helped them defeat the russians. The Talaban didn't take over till later and in fact during the war was a small group. They just held together better after the russians left and got control of the country.

While OBL and his group did stay and train in Afganastan (Along with many other countries)and probably had a lot of help from the talaban, the talaban themselves did not train the militants that attacked the towers.
