NetSol sometimes will refuse renewal
One of my domains required renewal. I paid through the web interface 2 months before the expiration date. I checked again one month before expiration, and it was still set to expire, so I called and they took my credit card number. I checked again right after it was to expire, and called again and they took my credit card number. A week later, and it was still the same expiration date in the past. I called again and they said it was in processing. By the next month it belonged to someone else.

The new owner is using it, so they are not a squatter, but I may have to go after them for trademark infringement. So did NetSol do them a favor?

I am guessing there was a "pay to grab" on the domain because the transfer to a new owner happened so quickly. There used to be a waiting period before a previously-owned domain was available. I once grabbed a lapsed domain (my last name), but I had to wait 6 months past the expiration date for the system to let me buy it.
