Minimize Damage and Recover
The ZoEmail system provides the user with a
means for managing the addresses and
creating custom addresses. This
management capability makes it very easy for
each person I correspond with to have a
different key. So, if a person I am doing
business with sells one of my addresses, it is
only going to affect that one relationship. I can
either close the key, or if I am still interested in
corresponding with that person, I can change
the key and the system automatically sends
out a change of address notification to that
person.

In practice, the people you email regularly and
trust will rarely, if ever, need to have their keys
changed.

Certainly, if some of your correspondents are
Windows users who regularly contract
viruses, you may be forced to close their key at
times to stop the flood of virus mail. But as
soon as they clean up the virus you can turn
the key back on again. I know many people
who have been swamped with bouncebacks
and other virus-related traffic using other
email systems, and ZoEmail actually gives
you a decent means of controlling it.
