- Pay cut - are you sure?
- Not to minimize the effect of being outsourced, just to understand it. So the work goes to a system house. IF you are competent,the services provider will want to hire you, and your career pattern switches from the customer organization to the service provider, with some loss of retirement (depending on the nature of the two companies plans and how vested you are). But do IT service providers pay lower salaries than in-house staff? Actually, where I am, it's the other way around.
