I'll wait for SP1000

No doubt IE7 will follow in the M$ tradition of bring out for a while and then needing a service pack. As usual SP1 will make things worse, followed by SP2 which will fix some of the things that SP1 screwed up.

I've just joined a new company that doesn't care about all the bells and whistles of the Orifice Suites so still has Word 97. Earlier this I was writing a report and tried to insert a cross reference with the label Table 1. This was fine until I tried to press the space bar, which caused the program to crash. I tried a few more times to make sure. The problem ... only SP1 was installed. Installing SP2 solved the problem.

So I'll let the brave and the foolish try out IE7. When SP1000 comes out I'll give it a go.
