- I like RealPlayer . . .

but I hate the company. For streaming media Real has Windows Media Player beat big time. But the other crap that Real slips in with their player sucks.
After installing Real player, I remove their registry entries that launch their "phone home" software and set my preferences for manual upgrades, no notices, etc.. But often they "magically" reappear.
