It's all the pols
The sad fact is that job exporting has been going on for over
30 years, under both Dem and Rep administraions and
Congresses.

There were MANY compalints about H1Bs when Clinton was
president. Nothing happened. Silicon Valley companies were
big Dem contributors.

Clinton signed NAFTA - the first trade agreement that
actually encouraged American companies to close US
factories and transfer the jobs to Mexico.

Clinton gave China Most Favored Nation status and worked
for their entrance into the WTO.

A few weeks ago I heard Kerry bellowing about US job loss to
overseas. Well, Kerry's been a senator for 18 years. I never
heard him complain before - for 18 YEARS. Nope! Only
when he senses that he can help his chances for the
presidency does he miraculously "discover" this job loss.

The sad fact is that there are just about zero large American
companies that can't pad their bottom line by simply
shipping jobs offshore. So they give big bucks to both
parties to protect that little gem. Then they turn up the
volume on the "we have to be competitive" mike. They
scream this everywhere but neglect to answer the question:
"With who?" The answer is "with each other".
