US corporations digging their own grave.
This whole business having to do with offshoring, L1s, and H1Bs are all short term solutions decided upon by shortsighted, greedy, nontalented corporate executives. Anybody notice the tech heavy NASDAQ today? It tanked. This so called economic expansion has no foundation due to the high unemployment and underpaid US workforce. The effect from Bush's tax cuts have ran their course. Where are US companies going to get their revenue now? Who is going to buy that new Intel computer? The unemployed US worker? Nope. The underpaid Indian worker? Nope. Intel's CEO is SOL. He fired an army of US workers and hired cheap labor in India. He helped to destroy his own customer base. Intel's stock tanked today and the bleeding ain't over. Poor fella. He made a stupid decision along with scads of other CEOs. Maybe there is a CEO in India who could do better, eh? US companies will learn the hard way. Unfortunatly, as is usually the case,it will be the hard working middle class that suffers while Intel's CEO plays on his multimillion dollar ranch in Montana.
