Ack...here we go again
I go to WalMart and I see Windows software on the shelf. No Linux and no Mac. Not everyone is a techno-geek who wants to tinker with a Linux box while putting everyone else down who uses a 'lesser' OS nor a cool, hip, with-it, person who wants to pay double the price for an Apple product just to make a personal style statement.

Want to see Linux hit the big time on home desktops? 'Weld the hood' shut to make it simple for the non-tech user to configure and get game developers to write for that platform. Until then, it won't get anywhere in the consumer market and people will want the same kind of PC at home and work, thus limiting corporate desktop usage as well.
