I am not sure of Solaris X86 Desktops, but love to see choice.
I really think SUN should stick with Linux for X86 desktops. Do they really want to deal with drivers for every possible combination of hardware? On the server, you are more limited in what you have to support, and there is a real need for Solaris as well. They should put all of their X86 Solaris resources into servers.

Well, thanks Scott keeping the heat under Bill and Steve. We love to see them squirm.
