I didn't say that this was the worst thing ever.. in fact, compared to many things this is a very minor, trivial issue.

However, there are decency and broadcast standard laws in place for a reason. It's not the fact that she did it, but the fact that viewers did not know it was going to happen, and thus could not make informed choices on whether to allow their children to watch the halftime show.

What message does this send to small children? That it's OK to tear off someone's clothing?

Bottom line is that it was absolutely the wrong thing to do. As well, now Janet is admitting she lied earlier, and that the whole thing was planned..
