Hi, there! Welcome to the computer industry!You're obviously new here, so let me suggest you do a little research BEFORE you start talking.

First, I'll point you to Windows NT, last decade, and the 64-bit support there. Next, let's look at more current offerings, like the 64-bit versions of Windows XP and Server for the Itanic.

I'm assuming you're referring to recent Linux news, hance the "MONTHS" comment. Perhaps back in the 90's, MS was still behind Linux. I have no idea. But that's not what you're talking about. Certainly MS was ahead of Apple.

Now, if that wasn't enough for you, I think you need to look next at Apple's OS. Last I heard, they had not yet released a 64-bit version of OS-X. I do not keep close enough tabs on that little market to know what's recently changed. I'm referring to "Panther", v. 10.3.
