....that Oracle simply makes overtures to stockholders, and can't put together a compelling argument to current customers as to how this merger would benefit them. The reason? It won't benefit the customers - pure and simple.

And who cares if some rich a$$h0les get richer? I'm glad the government is looking out for the people who purchased the product, rather than the people who purchased the stock.
