Open the Criminal Code sometime
Just take a look at the laws in there. How on earth is someone to know every law? It's impossible even lawyer don't know every law.

Take this for example. You pay a fee of $26.00 and you start downloading and swapping music. You paid your $26 do to this legally right? Well maybe you did and maybe you didn't but who's to know. Calling this person a thief doesn't solve the problem. Explaining copyright laws makes more sense.

99% of people out there don't understand copyright laws or plagurisms laws and the like. Calling them all thieves for not understanding a complex law that states some copying is ok while others is not. Then court cases saying one things is ok today and tomorow it's not.

So you can throw people on the defensive by purposefully misleading them a labeling them a thief. I believe that is wrong and just show the color of your character. No better than cheats, conmen and liers.
