Anyone that thinks making P2P programs go away will fix the problem is blind.
The reason you?re so stunningly blind, is the fact that the programs don't spread piracy people do. The program is a tool you can use it for a good reason or a bad one, the same way you can use a wrench to remove a nut, you can also hit someone with it and kill them so should we ban wrenches genius?
Any 5 year old should be able to handle that simple concept.
