Waste of time...
Oracle is a legacy company releasing a database that is 4 years too late. SQL Server 2000 has taken over the market Oracle used to command. Oracle requires nonsense like using a FROM clause in all SELECT statements. SQL Server allows me to query functions using SELECT without using a FROM. This alone has saved our firm millions of dollars in productivity and spontenaity. I will never forget the day we dumped our Solaris/Oracle servers for W2K/SQL2K. Our UNIX admin, who we layed off for refusing to get his MCSE, gave me explicit steps to type 'shutdown -i0 -g0 -y' for the final time.
