Why wouldn' that be a likely scenario
If I'm Joe User of a Linux system, I've been told that I should log on as root, so I've built my power user or whatever account that I log in with for general computer use, word processing playing games, email, etc.

So wouldn't that account have enough power to propogate a worm?

I'm not trying to be a Linux hater or anything, I'm trying to learn and understand, so I appreciate you input.

You said that a flaw with Windows is that it's too easy to execute code, which I can understand to a certain extent.

However, for the vast majority of people who just want to use there computer's, I don't see them putting up with a lot of security just to be able to run programs. A lot of folks would just bypass that kind of thing don't you think.
