Release patches ASAP!
What is the point of having patches sit on Microsoft's internal servers, unavailable to the general public, when there's an open vulnerability that is fixed by that patch?

What would happen if that hole was exploited while Microsoft was waiting for the month to come up? I'd say they'd be negligent (they know of the issue, they have a fix for the issue, but they do not distribute a fix for the issue).

Point is, if it's deemed a critical vulnerability, release the patch IMMEDIATELY so that the needs of Microsoft's customers are met.. not it's PR/Marketing department.
