I think that it is great that they are integrating PostgreSQL into the OS, hopefully they will increase the scalability (is that a word?) of PostgreSQL in the process. Oracle is just too bloated for smaller applications.
The Solaris containers for Linux is a very shrewd move on their part. It makes it easier to migrate Linux systems to Solaris without changing software.
