Solaris is pretty ususable without the BSD and GPL software.
What is your technical reason for thinking Solaris is superior to the following kernels:
Linux,
BSD (FreeBSD/OpenBSD/NetBSD/Darwin),
Hurd,
Minix3,
QNX,
