Would you like to make them clear?
Folks do not upgrade to the latest Windows because their machines are not powerful enough to run Windows XP or 2003

Two points that aren't sufficiently clear here. One is, why do folks need machines powerful enough to run Windows XP? If the machine can outpace the hard drive, cable modem and graphics, why does it need to go faster in order to clock more idle cycles? For years the need to upgrade to greater clock speeds and more memory was driven by the capability provided to the users and the latest, most capable software. Now that the potential offered has leveled off, what is the new incentive?

There is a Windows 2003?

One thing is clear, few of them would consider Linux.

Is it all that clear? What about corporate customers? Why not take advantage of inhouse expertise and move the desktop to a common platform? It runs up costs more than you know to maintain a separate support staff and infrastructure for the desktop. Moving all corporate IT resources to a single operating system isn't that bad an idea.
