Please pay attention. This was a trademark case brought before a judge whose jurisdiction is limited to intellectual property. He placed an injunction on Lindows from trading under their own name in the Benelux countries while the trademark questions (including Microsoft's right to the mark) are being decided.

This judge has no jurisdiction over customs matters or over the citizens of the Benelux countries. He cannot declare the Lindows product "contraband," and he would not attempt to deny Benelux citizens their rights; this is not a matter of his concern, he is protecting a trademark. If his decree is followed, that is sufficient.

All this hype may be fun, but it isn't relevant.
