Sun urges Eclipse to unify Java world

What is the anti windows side?: I work with companies in the industry on a daily basis, and we spend our time being pro-solutions, not anti-anything - that would be an enormous waste of time.

In case some have not noticed, the last year has been a very exciting time in the IT world. For the first time ever, we're not worrying about Brand A OS, the Brand B OS, on and on. We can look at configuring our solutions from the mix that best meets our needs, develop or acquire apps in confidence that they will port to whatever we choose. In the past, it was select your hardware, then your possibilities were limited to the offerings consistent with that vendor, even if that vendor failed to keep pace with cometition and your needs. The emergence of net-cenricity and a standard operating system and development language frees the user in ways never before imagined.
