Oh, it ain't, ain't it.

More than one million people have switched from Windows to
Mac so far this year, according to a research note from Needham
& Company, LLC.

But then, they're just a nationally recognized investment banking
and asset management firm, so what do they know. I'm sure
some dork called "Wolfie2K3" who posts ignorant,
unsubstantiated opinions on ZDNet is a much more reliable
authority.

I don't have any data on how many Windows users have switched
to Linux, but my hunch is it would be more than a million, since
it's free and doesn't require purchasing a new computer.

Finally, I have to say that the thought that you might think I or
my choice of operating system looks stupid doesn't concern me
in the least. Considering the source I'd be more concerned if that
weren't the case.
