Stupid is as stupid does.
People who are dumb enough to use Microsoft products are
dumb enough to make a lot of other stupid mistakes. If they
think it's worth paying exorbitant prices for buggy software
that's hard to use and riddled with security flaws then it stands
to reason that their business acumen isn't top notch.

But your claim that "it ain't the software"? Exactly what is that
based on? I've found Windows and other Microsoft products to
be so difficult to learn and use on a daily basis that it puts a
serious crimp in people's productivity. Companies that select
software that increases productivity, even if it costs more, will
obviously be at a competitive advantage, because, as everyone
knows, human resources are the single most expensive part of
doing business.
