Your point is 'spot on'. The reason for Dean's failure in Iowa is not be laid to his website's failure, but to his mis-use of another medium: television. When Dean began running negative TV ads, he was doomed. All the Internet in the world couldn't save Dean after the three days of his negative campaign ads.
Unjustly so, Dean was then further doomed for New Hampshire because of the televison coverage of his Iowa concession speech. So... the guy showed exuberance?! It amazes me how the public can condone going to football games and races, shouting and acting wild and out of control, but when a politician does the same at a rally, the public then reverts into Puritanistic psycho-conservatives. Stange.
