I dont think IT professionals represent a signifigant demographic. There must be 10 times the number of blue collar votes.

Although the "internet" angle is interesting to contemplate, and will benefit any canidate with a message the people want to hear, I feel Kerry's political leanings are more right (moderate) than Dean and this is why he is rising in the polls. Bush vs Dean would force people to choose between two extreme views, where Kerry offers a more moderate choice that appeals to more people. I typically vote for whichever party has the best chance to unseat the incumbent. It seems healthy to me to clean house regularly to help stem corruption in the system.
