Dean and the Internet
So using the internet was supposed to guarantee a win?
What do you guys smoke in the ZDNet offices?

The internet helped take Dean from a 3% candidate with no
hope to a number 3 and number 2 candidate with some
hope. And it helped him collect more money at this stage
in a campaign than any candidate in Democratic party
history.

And it is helping him over come the Iowa pep rally by
putting the Diane Sawyer interview on his website. And he
is now going to collect even more money from his
supporters because he needs it badly to stay on top.

Dean has also, via the internet, shaped the Democratic
candidates' "new" views on the War in Iraq, the urgency of
the Bush deficit and taking the taboo out of same sex
partnership issues.

sKerry and Edwards only recently caught on. And Bush,
ever the capitalist, even has a store of an action doll on his
website (ooooh, get me on of those, quick... will it wear Gay
Bob clothes, too?)

I would say Dean understands the internet and has profited
highly from its capabilities. It is now the standard in
communicating with many.
