No perception about it. It does need more support.
Otherwise the people who evaluate and make the decisions reguarding things related would not bring that up a a major factor.
By labeling it only as a "perception" would indicate to me that you belive all those people are stupid, as they go on the perception of Linux, not facts of Linux.
