But then thats OK given that you have to ubderstand what Unisys is today. At one time they were a big thing in our area, but over time have become a shell of their former self. They have become more of a support company then anything else.
So what better way to generate more support income for themselves then to push an OS that requires more support then many companies have or can afford to undertake in house?
They were losing business as Windows Server became more managable for many companies to undertake themselves.
Note they did say Windows for the desktop and Open Sorce for the server "would be best for THE company", not for "would be best for A company".
