Clue about what?
About being able to build a .NET client for a bank customer application? That's not all that hard, No_Ax but what would you know about it?

What's going to be a bigger challenge is the 400 million odd Win98 installs out there and how many will still be out there in...what is it now? 2006? 2007? XP has what? 35 million installs? Not counting Win2K. Not exactly breaking adoption records. Then ask yourself how many of those new installs will be Linux and their grand plan starts looking like money down the crapper, or in this case an Egg beater *sic*, because you still have to support the other platforms.

And unless they address the other vulnerabilities inherent in Winblows a desktop app isn't going to stop a trojan from key logging your login info. I'm not seeing any benefit except a PR win for MS at a time networks are crawling with the virus du jour.

Now what was it again we're lacking clue about?
