Yes and No...
Users can access all the attachments they want. They can view pictures, read documents, and all the useful things attachments were ment to be used for.

However, users will not be able to run executable attachments (most likely destructive) on a whim.

Most corporate email servers are configure to remove executable attachments right now. This is seen as a valuable feature and highly desired result.

With Linux, all users get that safty feature built in.

BTW - When was the last time you receive a *useful* attachment that was executable?
