I do understand that linux is not windows. Also, let me clarify - I don't mean that the underlying linux code will be changed, but that the e-mail software will be adapted such that it automatically changes file permissions. Also, most home users really don't care about changing their OS code - that won't be a real selling point.

Also, obviously you must care what I think, or you wouldn't bother to respond to me. The reason you care is because you realize that if you want Linux to take over, it is going to have to be able to appeal to the masses, who in general are far more ignorant than I am. As long as people like you will dismiss the opposing viewpoint, Linux will go nowhere.
