Microsoft has been known....
...to guess wrong in the past. They're big enough they can afford to make and recover from mistakes, though. Still, I agree with An_Axe on this one. Perhaps I don't have "the big picture" that others here claim, this doesn't resonate with anything that I do or see coming, so I'll wait this one out. If it turns out to be useful, well then I'll check it out. Otherwise not.
