Got a couple problems with this....
First this seems well rather rushed on MS's part and based on
past history I for one would NOT try this stuff till MS had at least
several versions of it out. You know like version 5 or so would
probably be a good place to start.

Second and perhaps even more disturbing is this on-line
software concept in general? Is this a further erosion of the
individuals ownership rights? Will this mean that almost nothing
but the hardware will actually be the users and where is the
logical end game for this?

In the past a people without any ownership were considered
serfs and those few with ownership were considered masters.
