CDs are very very usable.
Whether legal download sites will survive in the face of unauthorized P2P services is a key question

facing the industry as it gradually shifts away from the CD.
==1...

The legal services eventually will overtake file-swapping services, but "it's going to be a slow process," Goodman says, not likely to occur before 2007.
==2...

But he added a caveat to his prediction: "If we see easy-to-use anonymous P2P sites out there," he said, referring to file-swapping sites in which neither the downloaders or file-sharers are traceable, "then all bets are off."
==3..

_____==1...
Shifts away from CD. If anybody is shifting away from CD they are going to DVD. Downloading and copying have nothing to do with this.

==2...
'Legal services as opposed to 'illegal services. Do you actually believe that file swapping competes with original works ? If anything they complement,the comparison between illegal,and 'legal do not make that position clear.

==3..P2P sites have nothing whatsoever to do with original digital works that are currently for sale,or offered to the public.Neither does the person or the anonymity of a person using P2P.

______________

Neither a question of illegal,or piracy. This is a question of have,or have not. And isn't a have,have not legality. It is a 'product have or have not -for the product wich the copyrighted work portrays.

And no CDs will be around for a while to come.Dubiosly believe file swapping has nothing to do with a labels cashing in. File swapping in this instance if it means 'blaming loss on those doing it mention - and using CD sales falicies to cash out on fake market forcasts.

Swapping has nothing to do with CD sales growth or decline.

CDs are very very usable.

-just talking.yeah i read the whole thing.
