THIS is the year M$ dies!
Red Hat reported net income of $16.7 million in its most recent quarter

Of course, there is the fact that Bill Gates donates more than $16.7 million to charities in a week than Red Hat makes in a quarter but don't let that cloud your zealotry!

The answer, of course, is that Linux will continue to make inroads, Microsoft will continue to adapt (and profit), and competition will be healthy for the whole industry.
